Welcome to
My Personal Portfolio

I am a Computer Science major specializing in backend development and machine learning at the University of Central Florida. I am very proud to announce that I have recieved and accepted a full time offer from my target company, Oracle. I will be joining Oracles Cloud Infastructure division this upcoming september as a full time Backend Software Engineer. I couldn't be more excited to have the chance to join one of the largest and most intuitive distributers of Software in the world.

Projects

ADIP Contact Manager

Me and a team of 4 classmates developed a full stack application that provides contact managment for registered users. For this particular project I was solely responsible for the database, and partially responsible for the front-end.

Stack
  • Linux
  • Apache
  • MySQL
  • PHP

AR Asteroids

Me and my team of 5 CS majors created an asteroid shooting game based in Augmented reality. I was responsible for the backend develpoment of our project. I created API's for login, registration, edit account, delete account, email verification, and password reset via email. We implemented JWT's and password hashing so that our application was up to industry standards.

  • MongoDB
  • React
  • Express
  • Node.js

COMING SOON

I am currently working on an application that will aggregate workouts for specific muscle groups, by scraping the web.

Stack
  • MongoDB
  • React
  • Express
  • Node.js

Safe-Med

Our objective for Safe-Med is to demonstrate the effectiveness of an AI-enhanced medication administration software for AR devices, such as AR glasses and mobile devices. Our goal is to provide accurate, automatic, and real-time verification of medication administration. This application is intended to provide a secondary verification of dosage, after the nurse’s initial confirmation. Selected as semi-finalist for UCF SD showcase.

Technologies

I have worked with a range of languages in my major and free time. I am advanced in Java, C, and have recently gained a considerable amount of experience in Python. A few languages in which my experience is limited are C++, C#, and Haskell. I have experience in front-end development and have made pages with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React. On the backend I am experienced with Node JS, MongoDB, and Express. I have experience creating rest API's and am excited to have landed a position as a Backend Dev. I've also created databases for web apps using MySQL, and have designed front-page UI's with Bootstrap.

In the final year of my Computer Science degree I decided to place an emphasis on ML and Artifical intelligence courses and projects. I am now experienced with AI languages, libaries, and tools. These include python, NumPY, Keras/Tensorflow, and a bit of PyTorch. Among these topics I also learned fundamental alogorithms for supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.

As part of my emphasis on these topics I decided to choose an AI senior design project which utilizes computer vision and ML to calculate the volume of a syringe. Safe-Med up to this day is the most intrigueing project I have had the pleasure of working on. It utilizes 3 ML models which function cohesively in an assembled pipeline to calculate the volume of a syringe from an image on AR headsets and mobile apps. Me and my groups finalized appliction was selected as a semi-finalist for the Senior Design Showcase at UCF college of Engineering and Computer Science. Some of our board members, which included respected medical professionals who are on the UCF nursing board, were extremely pleased with and interested in the proof of concept application we developed.

About Me

I am a Software Engineer with interests in machine learning, backend development, Cryptography, and general problem solving. I am always excited to learn and further hone my coding skills. College has been a dream come true, and aside from my studies I have a very active lifestyle. In highschool I was an athlete and was on both the varsity volleyball and track and field team. I also play guitar on the side and enjoy producing music. I feel very lucky to have pursued a career that I am able to enjoy and constantly be facinated by. I have genuinely enjoyed my academic discipline of Computer Science and have already grasp the fundamentals. This includes but is not limited to...
